What I miss about Manhattan

-The sound of the garbage trucks doing their rounds at 2, 4 and 6 o'clock in the morning.

-The smell of urine as you wait for the N train on the way to work.

-The homeless people endlessly begging for change, singing, dancing, playing instruments, majic tricks and harrasing people on the subway.

-The 10 minute wait for coffee at star bucks in the morning.

-The lost tourist.

-The slow tourist.

-The fat tourist.

-The tourist looking up at the buildings.

-The rats on the street in soho.

-The rude service at any pizza place.

-The bad smell in the cabs.

-The loud drunks at night.

-The starving artists.

-The transportation.

-The good looking people.

-The hundreds of restaurants to choose from.

-The different languages you hear everyday.

-The effortless fashionable people that roam the city.

-The fashion.

-Listening to my ipod on the subway.

-Reading a book on the subway.

-Not needing a car.

-The cute boy that checks you out on subway.

-When people notice who you're wearing.

-The doormen.

-The gays.

-The expensive small apartments.

-The career oriented people.

-The ability to meet someone different everyday.

-The feeling of being in the best city in the world.

Your blog reminded me of New York in a way that only a true New Yorker could accomplish.
